When my sister burned her hand on an oven at a family gathering last year, I cupped my rei-ki hands over the area that was burnt.
After a few minutes of rei-ki, she said the pain became more intense but then cooled. A few days later, she reported that the burn had left no mark at all and her daughter pointed out that a wart which had been on the same hand near the burn site was now gone. This was a happy bonus, as the wart had been troublesome for quite awhile.
